Dégustation anniversaire des Climats dijonnais

To mark the anniversary of the Climats du Vignoble de Bourgogne being declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Dijon Metropolitan Tourist Office is organising a tasting of the region's wines on the slopes of the Motte Giron.

This unique event, "coup de cœur du Mois des Climats", will take place on Sunday 4 July at 11.30am on the slopes of the Motte Giron. It's a unique opportunity to taste local vintages in the presence of Dijon wine experts. They include Jean-Pierre Garcia, professor at the University of Burgundy and co-author of the book "Les climats du vignoble de Bourgogne comme patrimoine de l'Humanité", Jean-Luc Theuret, president of the Burgundy-Dijon promotional association and co-founder of the Domaine du Tumulus (Dijon) with Manuel Olivier, Sylvain Pataille, winemaker and Patrick Lebas, journalist and creator of the Wine Thursdays with the Dijon Metropolitan Tourist Office. This guided tasting, illustrated by an exhibition produced by the Jardin des Sciences, will be an opportunity to taste the great wines and appellations that are emblematic of the Dijon and Marsannay vineyards: Bourgogne Montrecul, Le Chapitre, Les Marcs d'Or, Le Clos du roy and other unique wines, such as a white Bourgogne made from a plot of land at Motte Giron... wines produced by great estates: Château de Marsannay, Derey et fréres, domaine du Tumulus, René Bouvier...

Take advantage of this opportunity to book a Brunch des Halles to take away and enjoy as a picnic after the wine-tasting conference.
