La Tour Philippe le Bon dans les étoiles – Visite de la salle d’Astronomie en nocturne

Take off from the Tour Philippe le Bon (sounds like a rocket, doesn't it?) for a journey through both space and time.
It's a dream come true: to observe the planets through an ancient telescope from the terrace of the Tower, as it was when it was an observatory in the 18th century, one of the most important in Europe.
We begin our visit at sunset (from the Terrace!). Then Mr de Lalande, the greatest French astronomer of the time, takes you back to the Astronomy Room to explain its history (in costume). Then we'll head back up to the terrace to observe the craters of the Moon and the planets of the day, clearly visible even with the lights of the City. You can even learn to recognise the constellations, with more modern equipment than in the 18th century!
A magical and fascinating experience.
