Song, rap or scansion, Mike Ladd's poetry in English borders on autobiography, delivers a few keys on lost loves, grandmother Rose gone to North Carolina, some crazy days spent in the Bronx or in Paris... Mike completes the picture with the emancipating role of Afro-American literature, which is essential in his journey, which has chosen to be ideal rather than perfect.
