A year at the heart of the Republic's schools, life... and shit! Samia, a young, novice CPE, arrives from her native Ardèche at a school in the town of Saint-Denis that has a reputation for being difficult. There she discovers recurring discipline problems and the social reality of the area, but also the incredible vitality and humour of both the pupils and her team of supervisors. Among them are Moussa, the neighbourhood big man, and Dylan, the flirt. Samia adapts and soon takes pleasure in channelling the enthusiasm of the most disruptive pupils. Her complicated personal situation naturally brings her closer to Yanis, a lively, intelligent teenager whose potential she senses. Even though Yanis seems to have given up all ambition, hiding behind his insolence, Samia will invest all her energy in diverting him from a predicted failure at school and trying to get him to look forward to a better future...
