Isaac Delusion, The George Kaplan Conspiracy

Isaac Delusion (FR)
After 3 years' silence, Isaac Delusion are back with an unexpected fourth album. Founded in 2012 and a survivor of the French '2010s' scene influenced by Anglo-Saxon bands, the project is set for the long haul, even if it means being the exception in a world where everything is on the increase except the lifespan of bands.
Pop, the timeless music par excellence, has always had many fans, and the group's audience has remained loyal since its beginnings. Anglo-Saxon pop, on the other hand, has its own timeless codes. Codes that Isaac Delusion have mastered to perfection, adding a very strong personal touch, highlighted by the instantly recognisable vocal imprint of Loïc, the group's singer/songwriter. Loïc admits to being inspired by the likes of Phoenix, James Blake, Sufjan Stevens and the angelic folk of Angelo De Augustine, but it's more a question of shared sensibilities than references.

The George Kaplan Conspiracy (FR)
The George Kaplan Conspiracy is an electronic pop duo from Dijon. The group's music is subtle and exhilarating, with minimal structures, danceable drum machines, reverberating guitars and a unique voice. Their love of analogue synthesizers has led them to the repetitive electronic energy of Kraftwerk, Soulwax and LCD Soundsystem, yet their early pop music influences are never far away, whether in a catchy chorus or a rubbery bass riff.
