Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin

An exceptional place to celebrate the French art of living

The Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin (International City of Gastronomy and Wine) has 1,750 square metres of exhibition space providing the keys to understanding the "French gastronomic meal" which, in 2010, was added to the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Far from a label that would freeze the unique know-how of the land of "good food", UNESCO thus recognised the exceptional value of a thousand-year-old tradition that contributes to strengthening social ties: the art of putting the right dishes in the right places, selecting the right products, accompanying them with the right wine, but also the conviviality that characterises the festive meal, the rituals attached to it and to the important moments of life...
