Join us at the Consortium Museum on Thursday 29 February for an evening of "Selected by Sabotage" with the group Omertà:
Omertà (France / Standard In-Fi - Zamzamrec)
Omertà is a dreamlike trip, with moods and sensations swirling, leaving and returning like a refrain. Plucked strings, electronics, softness and rhythm shimmer in the distance. An improvisational ensemble structured around the texts and voice of Florence Giroud, the musicians who accompany her are prominent members of the French experimental scene, and perform in groups such as Balladur, Société Etrange, France and Tanz Mein Herz.
With Florence Giroud (vocals, harmonica, metallophone), Pierre Bujeau (guitar, bass), Romain De Ferron (keyboards, synthesizers, electronics), Jonathan Grandcollot (drums, percussion, electronics), Romain Hervault (bass), Jérémie Sauvage (guitar, bass).
